Houston, Texas (October 24, 2019) The Texas Short Track Racing Series is proud to present TechNet SpeedFest, with asphalt racing action at The Oval at Houston Motorsports Park (HMP), where a family of four can enjoy the races for just $40 (2 adults/2 kids)!

Gina Schild-Knowles, General Manager of the Series, says “Come on out and enjoy fall family fun at budget-friendly prices! Kids get free face-painting and checkered flags, plus meet the drivers during the Meet & Greet intermission ON the race track! This is our season finale and we have a HUGE amount of swag items for the crowd PLUS some great donations from our sponsors and race teams!

We are thrilled to welcome TechNet Professional Automotive Service as the lead sponsor for the November 9th SpeedFest – locally-owned TechNet shops provide outstanding maintenance, repair work, and roadside assistance, so make sure your repair shop, is a TechNet shop!”

Joining us again in November will be Rodney Rodriguez, Host of Austin’s The Horn 104.9 FM/AM 1260 and Online Host of revvedupsportsshow.com - to provide race commentary, and Don Armstrong, the host of the most entertaining live car talk radio show, “In Wheel Time” on ESPN 97.5 FM in Houston - to interview winners of each race.

As the only NASCAR 3/8 mile asphalt race track in Texas, The Oval at HMP showcases local and national drivers in seven competitive car classes, including Pro Trucks, Pro Modifieds, Outlaws, Eco Stocks, Naskarts and Super Stocks, plus Allison Legacy.

See all the action at Houston Motorsports Park located 11620 N Lake Houston Pkwy on Saturday, November 9th - Gates open at 5 pm; Races start at 5:30 pm.
