HJ Towing & Recovery 358 Sprint Car Championship Is Friday At Williams Grove
410 sprints join limiteds for program, 358s race for $2,500 to win in 25-lap main

Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway will present HJ Towing & Recovery Night this Friday, September 16 at 8 pm when it stages the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 Sprint Car Championship, paying $2,500 to the winner.
The 358 sprint cars will compete in a 25 lap main event that also pays $250 to start.
The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints are also on the card, racing in a full program of heats and a feature event paying $3,600 to win.
Adult general admission is $14 for the racing program with youth ages 13 – 20 priced at $10.
Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for free at Williams Grove Speedway!
HJ Towing & Recovery will give away FREE hot dogs to the first 250 paying general admission fans on the night while also having a giant tow truck on display in the infield with kids activities also slated.
For the 358 sprints, the event also offers a limited number of contingency cash prizes and product giveaways.
In order to be eligible for the event, 358 drivers had to compete in at least two racing events at Williams Grove prior to this week and to date 38 entries are possible for the big mid-September showdown.
Heats and the feature for the 358 sprints will be handicapped based on combined average points from the 2016 Central PA 358 Sprint Point Series.
Williams Grove returns to action on Friday, September 23 at 8 pm with the National Open World of Outlaws Tune Up event for the 410 sprints as the final race in the Hoosier Diamond Series.
The event will also crown the 2016 358 sprint car champion in the division’s final oval appearance of the year.
The three-day Champion Racing Oil World of Outlaws National Open will take place at the track on September 29, 30 and October 1.
