Kingsport Speedway releases 2016 season schedule

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (Jan. 6, 2016) – Kingsport Speedway released the 2016 season schedule today. The 2016 season schedule features 20 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events and multiple other events beginning in mid-March.
“The Concrete Jungle” will roar to life on March 19 for a Saturday afternoon event. March 26 will see another Saturday afternoon show before Friday night racing returns on April 2.
2016 will also feature multiple special events. The North Carolina-based Southeast Super Truck Series and Southeast Super Stock Series will visit the 0.375-mile concrete oval twice. First on May 7 and again on July 23.
“It’s hard to believe we are already closing in on the 2016 season,” said Karen Tunnell, promoter. “We have a great season plan, and can’t wait to get started.”
Also scheduled for 2016 is the annual Fourth of July weekend event, and many other exciting events. The full schedule can be seen below.
