Southern Raceway Relaxes Tire Rule for $10,000 Southern States Classic November 5/6/7

MILTON, FL (October 28, 2015)—Officials with the Southern Raceway in Milton, Fla. have announced a tire rule adjustment for the upcoming Southern States Classic on November 5-7 paying $10,000-to-win and $1,000-to-start for the unsanctioned-Crate Late Model special event.
Officials have announced that the following tires will be allowed for the event next weekend. Hoosier: Crate 21, Crate 55, Hoosier 1350, any 1600 and a right rear option only 70. The American Racer Spec 48BT, any 56 or right rear option 70 will be allowed.
The Southern States Classic features the Crate Late Models racing for $10,000-to-win and 100 laps (click here for full purse info for this race). The Modifieds will race for $1,500-to-win, the Street Stocks will compete for $1,500-to-win, the Vintage Cars will race for $1,000-to-win and the Pure Stocks will compete for $1,000-to-win. Preliminary races are on Friday November 6th while the Last Chance races and the Main events will be Saturday November 7th.
An open practice will be held on Thursday Night November 5th. The Crate Late Model entry fee is $175.00. Thursday adult general admission is Free, Friday adult general admission is $20.00 and Saturday adult general admission is $25.00. A weekend wristband for all three nights will be sold for $40.00. Thursday pit admission is $10.00, Friday pit admission is $25.00 and Saturday pit admission is $35.00. A weekend wristband for all three nights will be sold for $60.00.
Southern States Classic Purse: 1) $10,000, 2) $5,000, 3) $2,500, 4) $2,000, 5) $1,500, 6) $1,200, 7) $1,150, 8) $1,125, 9) $1,100, 10) $1,075, 11) $1,050, 12) $1,025, 13th – 24th) $1,000.
