D. Laraway and Associates Night at the track; and Kid’s Bike Race Championships were also held.  All six divisions were in action as we close in on next week’s Butler Auto Supplies Season Championships. The results from the night of racing are:
Doug Eck from Corry made a back-to-back appearance in Marion Center Speedway’s Integra Racing Shocks Winner’s Circle Saturday night with his second victory in a row in the Lias Tire Super Late Model division.  Eck started the 25 lap feature on the outside pole position and took the lead from the start of the race from pole sitter, Doug Glessner of Boswell.  Glessner tried to get the lead back from Eck, but it wasn’t happening for him as Eck was able to maintain a good lead throughout the feature, once again leaving Glessner in second place for the second week in a row.  When the checkered flags came the results of the Lias Tire Super Late Model Feature were:  1) Doug Eck,       2) Doug Glessner, 3) Dave Blazavich, 4) Shawn Claar, 5) Billy Eash, 6) Tommy Beck, 7) Wally Fox, 8) Andrew Gordon, 9) Jayme Beck, 10) John Myers, 11) John Wayne Weaver, 12) Bob Sheesley and then not finishing the feature were 13) Benny Gordon, 14) Jerry Redden, 15) Tim Gould/Joe Campbell, 16) Rich Gardner.  The Lias Tire Super Late Model heat races were won by Doug Glessner and Shawn Claar.
The R. D. Crate American Racer Series feature:  1) Rich Logan, Jr., 2) Wendell Pinckney, 3) Matt Bassaro, 4) Dave Blazavich with Jim Ivory not finishing the feature.  Dave Blazavich won the preliminary heat race.

There was a special twenty lap feature for the Willow Farm Campground Strictly Stocks and Nick Fulmer of Marion Center collected the trophy presented by Dan Butler of Willow Farm Campground.  Fulmer started on the outside pole and was following the leader, Gary Stitt for the first seven laps before Stitt spun out and with the caution on the track handed Fulmer the lead.  Nick Fulmer took that gift and turned it into victory keeping last weeks feature winner, Jim Hamilton in second place.  Hamilton took over second from Nick Erskine for the remaining half dozen laps and was eager to go back to back with wins, but Fulmer wanted back in the Integra Racing Shocks Winner’s Circle and secured the win.  The final results: 1) Nick Fulmer, 2) Jim Hamilton, 3) Nick Erskine, 4) Rich Waltman, Jr., 5) Gary Stitt, 6) Duke Davidson, 7) Chris Hickok, 8) Larry Brewer, 9) Ryan Caldwell, 10) Dillon Smith.  The Willow Farm Campground heat race was won by Jim Hamilton.
