Get Ready to Ride at The Landing MX Park in Easton, MD

When Allen Bryan Jr., owner of local contracting company Bryan & Sons, purchased 90 acres over on Barker’s Landing Road, it was for the property’s useful soil materials. Bryan never expected to become the owner and operator of a motocross track complex, however that’s what evolved after numerous requests from motocross and atv riders who frequented the track establishments previously run on the Barker’s Landing property. In June of 2014, expert track builders DIRT WURX USA came out to re-design and re-construct the full track complex.
While not a motocross rider himself, Bryan appreciates the sport and is glad to provide a venue through The Landing MX Park for riders to come and have a good time. It’s been a learning process, you’ll hear Bryan say, and he’s frequently out conversing with the riders and working hard to make the track a great place to ride. While the fine-textured soils can provide a challenge to manage, you’ll see Bryan and his crew out grooming and watering down the track whenever necessary.
Recently Bryan personally, along with atv rider Matthew Walters and other employees of Bryan & Sons, put in a full week of making changes and improvements to the track. This includes amending the soil and raising elevation in places to improve drainage, lengthening the peewee track, and creating some new jumps.
