MARION CENTER SPEEDWAY INDEPENDENCE DAY BLOWOUT

Marion Center Speedway has revamped and revved up its schedule for the Independence Day Blowout this week. Beginning with Thursday, July2 when the track will host multiple divisions of truck and tractor pulls-Stock gas and diesel 4x4 trucks, Performance Stock Highway 4x4’s, an Open Competition 4x4 pickups, Hot Street and Open Diesel, even Stock Semi and Tri Axles Plus HOT Farm Tractors, SMOKERS can Run Too! Truck pulls start at 7:30PM with the pits opening at 5:30 and the grandstands at 6PM. Grandstand admission is only $10 for adults and they even have a family plan for a family of four (2 kids + 2 adults) is only $25. Other prices for kids and seniors too. Hook up fees and Pit admission costs available on the website.
Then for the Fourth of July, Events at the track start with an 8AM Flea Market, followed by a Pet Parade for the kids at 9:30 AM, a Kiddy Demo Derby at 12 Noon, a two Division Demo Derby (full and compact) at 1 PM, A Car Cruise from 1 to 4 PM and then the INDEPENDEPNCE DAY BLOWOUT: There will be a SUPER LATE MODEL SPECIAL when it will be Sallack Well Service Night & R D Shaffer Well Services Night with a King of The Hill Super Late Models event. There will be Double Features for the Street Stocks (Extra Feature from May 30th, all Street Stocks are welcome to participate in both features (can tag to end of rained out feature). A full night of racing for DOUBLE POINTS with Super Late Models, Street Stocks, & Strictly Stocks PLUS Fireworks Show at Marion Center Speedway! Race time is at 8 PM with the Pits opening at 6 PM and Grandstands opening at 6:30.
Marion Center Speedway has adjusted its original schedule to accommodate some more make up dates: Saturday, July 11 there will be a Crate Late Model Special for the Huey Brothers, Inc. Crate Late Models, plus the make up feature for the Butler Auto Supplies Front Wheel Drive 4/6 Cylinders. Then August 1, the Huey Bros., Inc. Crate Late Models will make up their feature, and August 8 will be the new date for the R. D. Shaffer Well Services Steel Block Limited Late Models to have double features.
