Lonesome Pine Raceway Reveals 2015 Season Schedule

COEBURN, Va. – Lonesome Pine Raceway’s 2015 season schedule has been released. The schedule features 14 events, beginning on April 4 and coming to a close on September 5 as part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
Lonesome Pine Raceway and Kingsport Speedway joined forces in 2014 after both tracks became managed by the Stiltner family. “2015 marks the second season that Lonesome Pine Raceway and Kingsport Speedway have teamed up, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Karen Tunnell, general manager. “2014 was a great season for Lonesome Pine (Raceway) and we expect 2015 to be no less.”
Events expected to return this season include the Southeast Super Truck Series and the new Southeast Super Street Series. Also expected to return is the Fourth of July weekend Independence Clash. After being absent for many seasons, the ATV dirt drag races and mud pulls will return as well.
