- Screven Motor Speedway began operations in 1997. 2011 will mark 15 years of dirt track racing at Screven Motor Speedway. Savannah River Dragway is also located on the same property giving fans an opportunity to see dirt track racing and drag racing for one low price. Screven Motor Speedway's configuration has changed over the years from a flat clay track to a banked oval in more recent years. Screven features turns that are approximately 100 feet wide and a backstretch that is 100 feet wide as well to allow for three-wide racing around the track.
