The WV Rim Rider, Fairmont WV's Steve Baker picked up his first win of the season in the Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic DIRTcar Super Late Models feature. Baker, who for the first part of the season struggled with an experimental chassis, made the switch to an updated older chassis and dominated the 25 lap main. Baker took the lead at the start and held off an early challenge from veteran Lynn Geisler, who was looking for his second win of the weekend, and weathered a couple restarts to win going away. Geisler was a solid second, while John Flinner charged from 10th to third followed by point leader Michael Norris, Ben Miley, Kyle Lukon (who recovered from an early tangle), John Mollick, Daryl Charlier, Brandon Burgoon and Alex Ferree. Lukon picked up the Awesome Designs Hard Chargers by improving his 14th starting spot to finish sixth. John Mollick was the K&N Performer of the race. The heats fell to Michael Norris and Mike Johnson.

Bright put the pressure on during the second half of the race, and made his winning move on lap 17. At the checker it was Bright, Gargiulo, Brendon Bright, Kobylarz, Nick Wean, Brett Arndt, Tim Buckwalter, Bruce Buckwalter Jr., Mark Gilmore, and Parker Evans. The heats had Alex Bright and Nick Wean grab wins.

Nick Kocuba ended up second followed by Bobby Heim, Pat Weldon, Wayne Carbo, Brian Huchko, Mike Harris, Jarrod Westover, Jenn Barker, and Craig Koteles. The K&N Performer of the race went to Mike Harris. The heats fell to Craig Koteles and Pat Weldon.

for first. Roman O'Neill was third followed by newcomers David Ostrander (also picking up the K&N Performer of the race), Dylan Bolind and Jonathan Miller.
Upcoming on August 11 will be Colussy Chevy Collectables night, and a complete regular show, and the Wacky Wheel's Figure 8's. Following on August 18, the Red Miley Memorial 53 Lap UFO Super Late Model Special, and the Black Jack 21 410 Sprint Car Special, plus a complete regular show. Regular shows consist of Super Late Models, Fastrak Pro Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Hobby Stocks, and Young Guns. Effective for the remainder of the season, in the event of any Saturday rainout the management will utilize a Sunday evening raindate. Times for the Sunday evening will start 1 hour earlier, with Gates opening at 4:00PM, Hot Laps at 5:00PM, and Racing at 6:00PM. For more info on PPMS Schedule see the website http://www.ppms.com/

West Mifflin PA's Gary Smith picked up his third feature of the season in the Miley BP Car Wash DIRTcar Hobby Stocks. Smith took the lead at the out-set and held off a persistent point leader Joe Podolinsky for the win. Chase Evans was third followed by Christian Schneider, J.J. O'Patchen, Steve Pyeritz, Don Black and Hannah Ramsey. Black was tagged with the K&N Performer of the race award. Joe Podolinsky won the heat.
In the Imperial Heights Garage DIRTcar Young Guns , Carnegie PA's Logan Crewl grabbed the lead on lap one from 6
In the Brougher's Machine Shop Fastrak Crate Late Models, defending champ and current point leader Colton Flinner, Allison Park PA used a borrowed car to pick up his first win of the season. Flinner, whose own car suffered mechanical problems last weekend, borrowed Ron Hall's machine (which went thru a major rebuild this week after Ron's wreck last week) dominated the 20 lap main. Flinner grabbed the lead at the start, and led all the way in the non-stop event to win by a straightaway. Last weekend's winner Kyle Lukon worked his way into second and chased Flinner most of the way, but could not find the speed to keep pace. Lukon ended up second followed by Josh Holtgraver, Tommy Schirnhofer Jr., Nico Dabecco, Beau Glemba, Justin Lamb (the K&N Performer of the race), Mark Moats Jr., Chuck Medved and Brian Goebel. Justin Lamb and Colton Flinner grabbed the heats.
