Lamar Racing Club hopes everyone will join us for a very fun filled weekend on May 13th & 14th if possible. We are running IMCA mods, 3000. to win, IMCA stocks,750. to win, IMCA hobby stocks,750 to win and our other 3 non sanctioned support classes so it will be a full weekend of good racing. This weekend is Lamars version of the Flatlander just not quite as large a scale. Our weekend celebration is called Lamar Days and is filled with things for the whole family. Sat is a big day with a main street parade where race cars are invited and encouraged, we have a very good car show in the park, a carnival in the same area, along with other activities. Our downtown merchants place their wares out on the sidewalk for lots of good shopping opportunity's for the women. The cowboys are in town for a rodeo so yes geoff, between the racers, car show guys, and the cowboys there will be some partying going on somewhere! Our pre registration deadline is May 1st so please get those in or the price goes up @ the gate. We are working on some motel deals and will post them soon. WOW! doesn't sound like something you want to miss !
