Racing at Montgomery Motor Speedway in Alabama on April 1-2 2011

Racing returns to Montgomery Motor Speedway for the 2011 season. The first installment of the Show Me the Money series will begin this Friday April 1st with Practice for the SMTM series. Saturday April 2nd the full slate of racing will begin with the Street stocks running 25 laps, the NVRA (Vintage race cars) will run a twin 15 lap event, SMTM I 100 green flag laps, Mini-Mod 20 laps, and Buzz 12 laps.

Schedule of events:

Friday April 1

SMTM Practice: Pits open at 12 and practice starts at 2.

Saturday April 2

11:00AM: Garage area opens

11:30AM - 1:30PM: Show Me the Money 100 technical inspection
(Each car must pass tech before practicing)

1:30PM - 3:00PM: Show Me the Money 100 practice
(With breaks inserted as deemed efficient to clear infield gates)

1:30PM - 3:00PM: Local/Support division technical inspection

3:00PM - 4:30PM: Local/Support division practice
(10 minute sessions; Must be lined up at stop & go in the proper order per session)

3:45PM: Show Me the Money 100 driver/spotter/crew chief meeting

4:00PM: SMM Series Pro Late Models report to pre-qualifying technical inspection. (Qualifying tires released & cars impounded)

4:35PM: Local/Support division driver/spotter/crew chief meeting

5:00PM: Local division qualifying (Street Stock first, followed by Buzz)

5:30PM: Show Me the Money 100 Pole Qualifying

6:30PM: National Vintage Racing Association Heat Races (Two races; Eight laps
each; Street Stock division staged on pit road)

6:50PM: Pre-race festivities

7:00PM: Racing begins

• Street Stock (25 laps)
• NVRA (Two 15-lap races)
• Show Me the Money 100 8:00pm
• Mini-Modified (20 laps)
• Buzz (12 laps)

8:00PM: GREEN FLAG Show Me the Money Series Show Me the Money 100
