I’ve Been A Racing Fan Ever Since… the early 60's when my Dad raced.

I Love Racing Because… its not a FAKE sport.

The best race I have ever been to was… One of the classic Bret Sievert/Ryan Dauber duels at Crown Point Speedway....Crown Point, Indiana.

The worst crash I’ve ever seen in person was… Brian Harris's crash at the Liberty 100 - West Liberty, Iowa.

My biggest ‘racing memory’ is… My first meeting of Jill George in 2006 - Growing up with the Schlieper boys, Bill and Johnny(Owners of Pro Power Racing).

I was born a race fan, my Dad raced when I was very young. I grew up going to tracks like Hales Corners, Beaver Dam, Cedarberg, Slinger. I grew up being an asphalt fan, then converted over to a HUGE dirt fan. I used to go to 90% asphalt tracks, but once I when to a big dirt late model show, a World of Outlaw race at Farley, Iowa I was hooked. I haven't been to 5 asphalt races in the past 10 years. I enjoy traveling, seeing all the different dirt tracks around the midwest. I love going to Dubuque and Farley, Iowa, I have met some of the nicest people at these tracks, Jill George and her family, Jaime Newhaus and her family are two of the nicest families one could ask to met in racing. I never leave home without a camera, I swear I was born with a camera in my hand. After many of years of taking pictures at different tracks, a great friend of mine, Bill Schlieper, suggested that I send in pictures to a magazine and try to get them published. I started out writing, taking pictures for a small magazine here in Wisconsin called, FASTRAX Magazine, but I was so limited on who I could cover and who I couldn't. Then I met Jill George at Davenport, Iowa in the spring of 2006, the rest is history, so thats how I became a writer/photographer for Dirt Late Model/Dirt Modified Magazine.
