“Eldora is both a regional favorite and a destination race track that wins awards year in and year out because they are a world class facility and they do things incredibly there,” commented Scott Kosak, the founder of RacingIn.com, “What’s just as amazing though is to see how more and more tracks are narrowing the gaps at the top of the rankings every year, showcasing that great promoters running great tracks are building the base of grassroots racing even stronger as years go on. Tracks that have strong fan bases benefit when their loyal patrons become their best marketers to spread the word and invite more race fans through the gates."

Given the growing popularity of dirt track racing, it was no surprise that 18 of the top 20 were dirt ovals ranging from 1/8 mile to ½ mile in length. Twelve different states are represented in the top 15 with Pennsylvania (4) leading, followed by Ohio, Illinois, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Indiana with 2 each.
