Chase leading the pack in his first win!

I am 13 years old and attendVance Middle School in Bristol, TN, were I am an honor roll student.  2009 was my first year racing, and I had a great time racing, and trying to learn all I could to become a better racer.  When I'm not racing I enjoy fishing, shooting basketball, and playing video games.  I would like to be a NASCAR driver one day, or if that doesn't work out I would like to design cars.

My rookie year racing go karts was in 2009.  I placed 2nd in my first race ever at Dumplin Valley Raceway.  I raced in the local points series at Beechnut Raceway in Blountville, TN in the Jr. Sportsman Champ class.  I should have raced the Rookie division, but there was no one else racing it, and the first race they watched me in practice, and said I could race in the regular Jr. Sportsman Champ class were I placed 3rd.  I finished the season 2nd place in points with one win, three pole positions, three 2nd place finishes, and two 3rd place finishes.  I also placed fourth in the American Dream race which drew racers from all over the Southeast.  I finished second in the points at Beechnut Raceway in Jr. Sportsman Champ class my Rookie year of racing against people who have been racing 2-5 years.  I have now moved up to the Sr. Champ class, which is typically for racers age 16 and up.  The track promoters allowed me to move up to this class and skip the Jr. Champ class due to my good performance in the Jr. Sportsman Champ class.
