During the week, Erik chases down the speeders in his high powered police car. On the weekends drivers are chasing him down. Erik is a fourth generation police officer and has been serving the public for nine years and is also an active hostage negotiator for the northern Illinois region.

In 2007 and 2008, Erik and the #24 Hefty® Chevy captured back to back Super Cup Championships! Erik has won a race every year since he started in Super Cups in 2004 and  won over 30 races in his short 6 year racing career.  Erik has won all three of his feature races at Madison Int'l Speedway and won three of his many feature wins at Rockford on the last lap!

Erik started working on Legends cars in 2002 for CPM Racing, drove Legends in 2003, and then moved into Super Cups in 2004. Erik then became the 2005 National Short Track Championship winner.

Lawman Racing was formed in 2004 with the help of several other police officers. Erik has relied on his teammate David to make their championships possible. Erik also spent some time in a Mini Sprint in 2010 with the Mini Sprint Mafia.

Ive also been working with several teams and organizations on promotions and sponsorship hunting, from the local level to NASCAR. Check out the website for more information

Primary Ride

The Super Minicup car is a ½ scale stock car built just like the Sprint Cup cars you see on TV. They have tube chassis, adjustable suspension, coil-over shocks, disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, etc. The cars might look small, but they can fit drivers up to 6'4" and 300#. They can reach speeds over 100mph, however at most of the smaller tracks we race at, we hit speeds between 65 and 90mph.
