BlueFirePony with "Angry Pony Eyes" ;)

I am the co-founder of BlueFire Racing - a grassroots club racing team competing in Texas.    My son and I started our team in 2006 and entered full-time wheel-to-wheel competition in NASA's American Iron/Camaro Mustang Challenge series in 2008 as American Iron #404.   I was the American Iron Rookie of the Year for 2009.

I am the proud father of 4 great kids - all in college and am married to my wonderful wife Anna.

Primary Ride

BlueFirePony is a 2005 Mustang GT that was a daily driver and true pony car for the first few years as we drove her to track events and back home.

In late 2008 we converted her to a full time racecar and begain competing in NASA's American Iron series.

We have 3 GREAT partners on-board for 2011.

DFW Charity Racing - helping special needs children in the DFW area (DFWCharityRacing.com)

281Motorsports.com - YOUR Mustang Performance Source (www.281Motorsports.com)

Nowzad Dogs Charity - rescuing stray and abandoned animals from Iraq and Afghanistan (www.nowzad.com)

Backup Ride(s)

We are working to get our second AI/CMC car built.

We are also working on a time trial / track car.
