Jason Alder lives in Cooksville, Maryland and has been racing go-karts since the age of six.  He has had the privilege of learning to drive amongst multiple national champions at his local track, giving him national level competition on a weekly basis.  Jason continues to show steady improvement of his driving skills.

In 2011, Jason started racing nationally in the WKA Gold Cup Series where he scored a podium finish in first National race entered.  He finished 6th nationally in points his rookie year.

The following season Jason won two WKA national pole awards and finished in the top 5 in points.  He also won the Most Improved Junior Driver award at his local track, Sandy Hook Speedway in Street, Maryland.

Primary Ride

Go-Karts

Team #77 has two racing Karts.  Both are identical but are setup differently to meet the specific class requirements in which they will be raced.  The main differences between the karts on race day are the motor and the weight.  We must add ballast weight in the form of steel or lead to meet the minimum weight requirements.

Backup Ride(s)

Bandolero  (this is not really my backup vehicle)

Bandolero car racing is a very competitive class among younger drivers.  Many bandolero cars can reach in excess of 70 mph. The cars are built like miniature stock cars, with a tube frame and sheet metal cage. Drivers enter through the roof of the vehicle and range in age from 8 to 16 years old.  The cars race on 1/4 mile, 3/8 mile and 4/10 mile ovals, road courses and dirt tracks.
