I’ve Been A Racing Fan Ever Since… 1979 Daytona 500,
I Love Racing Because… there are so many stories at each race...The Champ, the Rookie, the suitcase, the Jerk, and the officials holding 'em all down.
The best race I have ever been to was… 1972, as pit crew for Jerry Fox's late model @ Evergreen Speedway. 25th, but It was agin Cope and Sprague.
The worst crash I’ve ever seen in person was… Bob Hawlings steering wheel came off in turn 4 @ Evergreen. He pushed the outside pit wall into the inside pit wall. Everyone was safe.

I retired as an electrician and I'm living in my vacation spot, Ocean Shores. I worked for a while at the local Go-cart track, BJs Family Fun center. I play guitar, but a nerve in my neck keeps me from doing a whole set, let alone a night. I can't afford a race team, wouldn't know how to build one, and ain't got the drive to make one successful, but I LOVE watchin' those who do.
