I’ve Been A Racing Fan Ever Since… I can remember. In the late 60's my mom and dad used to take me to Bakersfield Speedway in California every Saturday night. We'd go to the local pancake house after the races where all the drivers went to talk about the nights races. My favorite driver back then was #25 Bill Brown - Those were the best times!!!

I Love Racing Because… How many other sports are out where the competitors PAY big money just to compete??

The best race I have ever been to was… The 4th annual "Prelude to the Dream" and "The Dream" at Eldora Speedway in Rossville, Ohio

The worst crash I’ve ever seen in person was… A was working as a wrecker operator at Bakersfield Speedway in Bakersfield Ca in 1997 and a pair of USAC Sprint cars tangled coming out of turn 3 and hit the wall and 1 of them flipped and climbed the fence. The car ended up hung on the top of the catch fence by it's front wheel and the wing ended up in the stands. The other car involved ended up high centered on the catch wall and burst into flames. I was the first responder to the wreck and actually pulled the driver out of the flames - Singed the hair on my face and arms but I saved that drivers life I'm sure. That's was the worst crash I have ever seen in person, yet it was also one of the best nights in my life at the same time!

My biggest ‘racing memory’ is… Being General Manager and Flagman at Whiskey Lake raceway in Kansas for 6 years. Was an interesting time in my life to say the least. Being on the flag stand is almost like being in the race - best seat in the house!!
