Some Schedules Events for the 2015 Race Season at Marion Center Speedway

MCS 2015 race season will soon be here, Saturday, April 18th.  The season will begin with an Open Practice Day.  All are welcome (drivers, owners, and fans), to come out to “Test & Tune” their cars, or just watch their favorite car and driver. 

 

 Several events like “Test & Tune” have been added to MCS 2015 Race Season Schedule this year.    These events have been scheduled for: Wednesday, May 13th; Wednesday, June 10th; and Wednesday, August 10th.  All of these “Test & Tune” Open Practice Evenings will be open to all racing divisions.  The race track will open at 5:00pm through 8:00pm for racers to bring their cars and try them on the track.  Pit Fee will be $25.00 and the grandstand are FREE.

 

These “Open Practice Nights” are intended to give drivers more track time.  Maybe, some new drivers need more time on the track to improve their driving skills.  Another advantage for drivers and race teams, is to give them the chance to solve problems they may be having with their cars to be more competitive, or to just improve performance of their car.  Also, these events give fans a chance to come out to the track, walk through the pits, see the cars up close and maybe meet their favorite driver, or just enjoy an evening with the family watching from the grandstands.

Keep checking our website www.marioncenterspeedway.net  for up-dates to our 2015 Race Season Schedule.  Opening night will be Saturday, April 25th with all 6 racing divisions (Super Late Models, Steel-Blk. Limited Late Models, Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, Strictly Stocks, and the NEW FWD 6-Cylinders).  A Regular racing program will be on the following Saturday, May 2nd, with Mother’s Day Special to follow on Saturday, May 9th.  Then, our first monthly open practice evening on Wednesday, May 13th, and Armed Forces Day – FWD 6-Cylinder Special on Saturday, May 16th, with the first Kid’s Bike Races for the 2015 Race Season.  Check it all out at www.marioncenterspeedway.net
