West Siloam Speedway Ends An Era To Begin a New One.
(12/2/2014)
On November 21st, 2014, West Siloam Speedway held its annual Awards Banquet to recognize the track supporters, workers and drivers. Awarded were Class Champions as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place in points garnered throughout the racing season. Track Owner Jacob Freese congratulated all attendees, Drivers and Track Workers for their work in accomplishing a safe and exciting season on the track and off, as well as presenting all winners with a check and a trophy for their Winnings.
Beginning with the 2015 Season, the track will continue under a new name, Flint Creek Speedway, as it undertakes new upgrades to the facilities and the track itself. The 2014 Season found incredible improvements to the track surface as well as slight changes to the track configuration, allowing for more side by side racing and creating much more exciting racing in all classes. The 2015 Season will also include the added class of Dwarf Cars to it's weekly racing after several exciting showings of these cars during the 2014 Season. The Dwarf Cars were truly exciting and promise to be a local favorite as they race into the new season. Other major improvements are in the works to help provide a better fan experience, as well as a better driver experience in our 2015 weekly racing schedule.
No matter what track you attend, please help support your local race tracks and don't forget, it's an excellent night out for good ole fashioned family entertainment and some exciting dirt track racing. We hope to see you in 2015 at Flint Creek Speedway!!! Come back often to our RacingIn page for future updates, news and events and Thank You for your support throughout the season.
