MARSHFIELD MOTOR SPEEDWAY TO HOST JULY 4TH RACE!

Marshfield, WI, (June 30, 2014) – This Friday, July 4th, Marshfield Motor Speedway will be hosting a special event. Super Late Models will be competing in a 50-lap feature event. This will be a regular points race, and a two tire show for super late models. Also competing will be the X-Treme 4′s, Pure Stocks, Bandits, and Cruisers! Due to a scheduling conflict with our fireworks company, MMS has moved their Fireworks Extravaganza to the July 12th, Yellow River Racing Series special event. Promoter Wayne Brevik explained, “With all the fireworks going on in local communities, we chose to move our fireworks to the Yellow River Racing Series night.” Brevik further stated, “By getting our event started earlier in the day, our fans can get back to their local community fireworks show, or get back to their campsite at a decent time.”
Pit gates will open at 12:00 noon, fan gates to open at 1:30, qualifying is at 2:30 with racing set to begin at 4pm sharp! With these set times, racing should be concluded by 6:30pm, allowing plenty of time to get our fans to their July 4th destinations!
