#17 Ricky Griffith named Prep-Athlete of the Week

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN)- Ricky Griffith is just 16 years old.
That hasn't stopped Griffith from competing in a sport generally reserved for full grown adults, and it hasn't stopped him from winning.
Griffith is the Super Stock winner for the slow trophy dash at Big Country Speedway on Saturday.
He dodged and weaved his way through an experienced pack for the winand in the process earned Prep Athlete of the Week honors, a first for a racecar driver.
