I’ve Been A Racing Fan Ever Since… I discovered racing when i was just 14 years old. Watched my favourite guys do Oval Track Racing - Stockcars. When i was 18 i invested in a little mini and started racing myself. after a few months i was sponored by Lightning Racing. this was all down in Cape Town. When i moved to Johannesburg i couldnt afford to race again so i bacame a track marshal.

I Love Racing Because… Racing is living... Everything else is just waiting.

The best race I have ever been to was… World Superbikes at Kyalami in May 2008... never ever ever seen anything like that in my life!!!

The worst crash I’ve ever seen in person was… im a track marshal - i see dozens and too many to pick from

My biggest ‘racing memory’ is… when i won 2nd position in my 3rd race ever... Ayrton Senna says : You will never know the feeling of a driver when winning a race. The helmet hides feelings that cannot be understood.

If it is one thing im very much obsessed with then it should be racing.. and it is racing. . i can spend hours at a time reading the history of Formula 1 Drivers, WSBK & MotoGP Riders or any form of racing whatsoever. My favourite ofcourse is looking up all the quotes from the late legendary F1 Commentator - Murray Walker.
