I’ve Been A Racing Fan Ever Since… my dad brought me to Stafford Motor Speedway as a kid when he worked the pit gate.
I Love Racing Because… it's exciting, the people who watch it are all great people and the racers really do love what they do.
The worst crash I’ve ever seen in person was… I remember watching 2 SK Modifieds roll over side by side at Stafford when I was a kid.
My biggest ‘racing memory’ is… all of them!

After working in/around NASCAR for several years, mostly through Chicagoland Speedway and MRN/PRN, I realized I'd forgotten about all the great local racing that I'd witnessed growing up.
Now that I have kids, it's pretty unrealistic to go to lots of NASCAR races (especially since they're only in Chicagoland a couple times a year (now that there's a truck race at Chicagoland too) because it's just too darn expensive...
SO, I 'rediscovered' local racing at Sycamore Speedway in Illinois in 2008 and remembered everything that I love about racing... close competition, short races with lots of action, ACTUAL passing, and tons of people who love the same thing you love... PLUS, my kids absolutely LOVED seeing the cars in the parking lot at the end of the races.
That's when I decided to create a website where ANY Racer can connect with ANY RACE FAN and together, they can promote everything they love about racing!
That's when I decided that if I can help people find local racing and have as much fun as everyone else has, then that would be a great thing for racing EVERYWHERE!
