I’ve Been A Racing Fan Ever Since… the first race I went to at Watkins Glen in 1990, back then it was the "Bud at the Glen" Nascar Winston Cup Series

I Love Racing Because… the speed, the cars, the history, and my association with Watkins Glen International, with out which I wouldn't have the friends and extended family I do.

The best race I have ever been to was… 2009 Crown Royal 200 at the Glen. It was the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series and I got to flag at turn one with my Dad

The worst crash I’ve ever seen in person was… it was an SCCA regional event at Watkins Glen, I was flagging at turn 5 it was the Spec Miata, painted up in the 'planet Miata' livery. The car came out of the innerloop and around to turn 5, hit the rumble strip drivers right, had a couple of tank slappers, tried so hard to catch it, I thought he had it caught at one point, but slammed nose first into the Armco, only about ten feet past the tire barrier. That car hit a ton, and just stopped when he hit the rail, the right rear tire dislodged and continued to roll down the track. It's the hits where the car just stops that scare me to death. Later that afternoon I went into the paddock to find the hauler, and was very relieved to find out that the driver was uninjured. The team manager told me that the driver was going to be sore for while but was no worse for wear.

My biggest ‘racing memory’ is… Dale Earnhardt testing rain tires at Watkins Glen

I am a five year veteran of Race Services Inc. RSI is a volunteer organization that provides the safety team for Watkins Glen International, I am a flagging and communications member. I cannot put into words what it has meant to me over the last several years to be affiliated with such an elite group. Through my experience at Watkins, I have also had the pleasure of traveling with some race groups that have taken me to Limerock Park, Summit Point Motorsports Park, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Pocono, and Monticello Motors Club. I love to travel and I have learned a lot from the people I have had the pleasure to meet and work with.
