C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause Inc. and former Nascar Camping World Series Winner Joey Coulter will return for their 3rd year of sponsorship, 2nd as series title sponsor for the 2017 season. C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause Inc. and president Rick Bristol have announced that this will be the final year of the Joey Coulter Charity 200 Race Weekend in December after 12 years, and over 25 years of raising funds for children and families. Joey Coulter, who is beginning his 2nd full season on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, after racing 4 seasons on the Nascar Camping World Truck Series where he won at Pocono in 2012 and was also the Rookie of the Year, is excited to be involved again.
“ I am happy to be back with Rick and C.A.R.S. for another year of sponsorship here at Tri-County Microd Club and the Tri-County Speedway. While we work on a final special C.A.R.S. event for December it will be great to see how these young drivers do in 2017. I want to wish them all a great season and I will be watching the results, photos and more”. Stated Coulter.
“I am excited to be able to sponsor this club and Tri-County speedway again, it has been great to be involved and see all the hard work, improvements and effort by the board and volunteers that make it happen for these youngsters. With this being our last year of doing the Charity Race Weekend and our foundation it will be our last year to be able to sponsor in this manner, but I will look to be able to continue to help this club and track in the future on a personal level. I hope all the young drivers have a good season and I will be working on trying to make it up for a race weekend or the banquet this year” stated Rick Bristol.
