The 2014 Race season will mark the 48th Anniversary of Marion Center Speedway. The 1/4 mile oval dirt track is located on the top of a hill, just off PA Route 119, 3 miles north of Marion Center PA. MCS has been owned and operated by the Potts family since it was built in the fall of 1965 by David and Marybelle Potts, with the first races in 1966. The core of the on-going operation today is still run by their two daughters (June and Janet) and son-in-law Rich Leydic. Friends, neighbors and even former race car drivers make up the rest of the staff that keeps the facility family oriented.

This weekend, Saturday, April 26, 2014, a Test & Tune day is scheduled to start off the 2014 Race Season at MCS. This is an open practice day for all (drivers, cars, and fans). The event will start at 1:00pm through 5:00pm. Gates will open at noon and admission in to the Pits will be $25.00 and the Grandstands are FREE.

The following weekend will be the official start of 2014 Race Season at MCS with Opening Night, Saturday, May 3rd. Five racing divisions ( Super Late Models, Create Late Models, Steel-Block Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, and Strictly Stocks) will be competing for the Integra Racing Shocks Winner Circle at MCS this year. Racing will start at 7:30pm and the Grandstands, and Concessions (with fresh hot food and ice cold beverages), will open at 6:00pm. Pit Gate opens at 5:30pm. Admission prices are the same as last year: Adults $12.00, Seniors $11.00, Family Pass (2 Adults & 2 Kids) $30.00, Kids (7-12) $5.00, 6 and under FREE, Pit Fee $25.00.
