2013 Race Season to start at MCS April 27

The 2013 Race Season will start at Marion Center Speedway Saturday, April 27, with a Test & Tune Practice Day. This is a open practice for all (drivers, cars, & fans). The event will have a start time of 1:00pm thru 5:00pm. Admission in to the Pits will be $25.00 and Grandstand is FREE.
The following Saturday, May 4, will be the official Opening Night at MCS will all 6 racing divisions: Lias Tire Super Latemodels, Force Inc. Steel-Blk Limited Latemodels, Hoosier Fastrak Crate Latemodels, W. G. Satterlee Street Stocks, Willow Farm Campgrounds Strictly Stocks, and Best Kawasaki Mod-Lites. Gates will open at 5:30pm in to the pits and 6:00pm in to the grandstands. Concession stand will be ready with fresh hot food and ice cold Pepsi products for all to enjoy before race time at 7:30pm.
Admission in to the track this season is: Adults $12.00 - Seniors $11.00 - Kids (7-12) $5.00 and 6 and under FREE - Family Pass (2 Adults & 2 Kids (7-12)) $30.00 - Pit Fee $25.00.
Spectator drags will also be on the 2013 race season schedule once a month starting Saturday, May 18, with two more events (Saturday, July 27 & Satuday, August 10). Marion Center Vol. Fire Company will also be holding the 14th Indiana County Fire Chief's Association 9th Annual Firefighters Convention at Marion Center Speedway this year July 10th thru 14th. Firefighter events, DJ's, Bands, and Flea Market/Car Show are some of the events to held during the week. There will also be small rides, games, vendors, and things to do for the whole family all week. Scheduled bands to appear are: Firday, July 12: Riding Shotgun and Saturday July, 13: NOMAD / Riding Shotgun / Brian Miller Band. DJ's will be: Wednesday, July 10 Jammin Jim & Karaoke, Thursday July 11, Bad Daze Rob, and on Sunday, July 14, Labmix Music Billy Menk with Flea Market/Car Show (includes Trucks, Big Rigs, and Antique Tractors).
